in the course of business, we have to drive. sometimes we have to fly. our raw materials are often trucked long distances to our door. we generate a certain small amount of waste that cannot be avoided or recycled.
all of this activity can be measured and the carbon footprint calculated.
in the past we have been accredited carbon neutral (we were the first soap company in the australasia-pacific region to be so accredited)
our long term plan these days is to re-forest the old dairy land we live on.
we are off to a great start with 700 trees planted in the last 14 months and more to come.
